About the Artist's Rolls: This is an ongoing project that began 15 years ago and involves many stages that are both mentally and physically demanding. The rolls come in different lengths and have various technical applications.
Artist Statement: Here I am, wrapped in my roll. My mind is wrapped, female minds are rolled. The ideas keep us immersed in a winding path. Given this conflict, my outer rolls reflect women; quiet, resting, wrapped in an aura of hope and some calm. My rolls give a break to the endless thoughts rolled, twisted everyday, we take to be more and more involved, moored.
I love working on these rolls They are like a balm on my days, I released my rolls, I convey tranquility, stillness, calmness and serenity. I hope to convey the same to everybody with my colors, shapes, lines and textures.
